A Welcome Message from Senior Pastor Terry Smith

Thanks for your interest in this ministry. I hope you will find the website helpful in telling you about who we are.

I want to extend a warm welcome for you to worship with us. I believe you will find a loving group of people at Immanuel - people who love God, love one another, and love people who still need to know Jesus Christ.

We seek to make Jesus Christ the center of attention at Immanuel Church. We believe He alone is more than adequate to meet every need we face in life. We desire to exalt Him as Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King. We want to get to know Jesus better and experience all of the difference He wants to make in our lives and in our community. You will find a variety of ministries here at the church which helps us in pursuing that goal.

One of our ministry focal points is the Sunday Morning Worship Service. You will find that we use a blended approach to worship, singing both contemporary choruses and traditional hymns. Our deep longing is to be more concerned with the heart of worship than with the style of worship. Messages are taken from the texts of the Bible, as we seek to learn more of God's truth and apply it in powerfully relevant ways. Within our website you will find our service schedule and descriptions of all our various ministries including our new Spanish-speaking ministry.

Not only do we work to share the love and Good News of Jesus Christ in the Mechanicsburg area, we are also involved in spreading His message throughout Eastern Pennsylvania by our partnership with the Eastern Pennsylvania District of the Christian & Missionary Alliance (link to the website here) and throughout the world by our partnership with the Christian & Missionary Alliance Missions.
