Terry Smith, Senior Pastor
I'm Terry Smith and I serve as the senior pastor at Immanuel. I was born in Illinois, spent much of my life in Florida, and love living in south central Pennsylvania. I've been in ministry with the C&MA since 1981, serving as pastor of four churches and working in two district offices. This is actually my second stint as pastor at Immanuel. My wife, Ruth, and I have been married since 1977. Ruth is very active in the ministry of the church, serving especially in women's ministry and coordinating the nursery. We have been back at Immanuel since January 1, 2006, and love serving the Lord together with a great and growing church family. Ruth and I have two adult sons, Brian and Jeff.

Rick Shell , Associate Pastor
I'm Rick Shell, and I serve as the associate pastor at Immanuel. I was born in the mountains of eastern Kentucky, but I lived most of my childhood and youth in Tennessee, where my dad retired from the Navy. After graduating in 1975 with an associate's degree, I joined the Navy and spent ten years traveling around the country and world, It was while I was in the Navy that I met Sharron, and we eventually got married in 1983. After six years of college and seminary, I began ministry with the C&MA in 1991. I served as an associate pastor, interim pastor, and pastored two churches in Pennsylvania before coming to Immanuel. Sharron is a schoolteacher and has been working with the Harrisburg School District since 2002, where she teaches in the preschool program. Sharron really enjoys working with kids and has been involved with kids' ministries in the churches in which we've served. Sharron and I have two grown children, Chris and Sarah, who still live with us. We started ministry here at Immanuel on September 1, 2009, and are excited about serving.

Duane Stine,
Assistant Pastor—Student Ministries

I have been attending Immanuel Church all my life and have been serving in youth ministry since 1999. My education is in the engineering field and I have run my own engineering business since 1991. Recently, God has called me to full-time ministry and I have transitioned from professional engineer to youth pastor. My family and I are very excited about the direction in our lives and are delighted to be part of the ministry team at Immanuel. Sue, my amazing wife, is also my partner in ministry and is very active with the college, youth, and children's ministries. She especially likes hugging the infants on Sunday mornings! We have two children, Amanda, who is attending college, and Matthew, who is actively involved in the youth program. They both love to serve in the church wherever possible. God has ignited a passion for students in my soul and that flame is fanned with each encounter.

Xavier Godoy,
Pastor—Iglesia El Camino

Hi, I am Xavier Godoy, and with my wife Alexandra and our three children, Valerie, Sofia, and Andres, we were called by the Lord to put our lives before Jesus Christ to serve Him, which is for us a great privilege and at the same time a challenge. We have the certainty and confidence of being chosen to share the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ to all the places that the Lord will take us.

With the peace to know that the Lord will fulfill His purpose in our lives we keep on working in this ministry that God has given us in the city of Mechanicsburg with the Spanish-speaking people.
