How can I serve?

  • Teach or assist in a children’s Sunday School class or during Children’s Church
  • Snuggle babies in the nursery
  • Read to, chase, and play trains with toddlers in the nursery
  • Be a listening ear and friendly face to our youth
  • Take a college student under your wing and have them over for dinner
  • Visit shut-ins (those who can’t regularly get out to services)
  • Pray! We provide a weekly prayer sheet and every church needs passionate prayer warriors behind the scenes! And go to Wednesday night prayer meeting.
  • Share your musical talents on the worship team
  • Join the choir
  • Become an usher
  • Save cancelled postage stamps. Believe it or not, they can be turned in for cash to help missions!
  • Bring food to potlucks, church dinners, and other fun events.
  • Run the sound board or computer during Sunday morning worship.
  • Listen to kids recite verses Wednesday nights at AWANA.
  • Smile and greet people Sunday mornings, making special note of new faces.
  • Join a work day to prepare items for overseas missionaries.
  • Give! Generous giving not only furthers the gospel in our community and around the world, but it blesses the giver!
  • Help at a church work day to spruce up our physical property and building.
  • Teach adults—either in a Sunday School setting or in a Bible study.
  • Start a small group in your home
  • Assist with our “English as a Second Language” (ESL) classes either by helping with childcare or by listening to the non-native English-speakers practice
